PROPAINTBALL! NPPL.com on the move?
The former home of the National 7-man Professional Paintball league appears to have been replaced by a Cable Cam template. A quick google search reveals that Cable Cam is an aerial camera operator for the NBA and NHL. Apparently the company WinnerComm (CableCam’s parent company?) is somehow affiliated with the new site. Feel free to direct your browser to npplbeta.winnercomm.com. A bit of digging on the site reveals that all the 2008 scores, sponsors, about the league, videos and photographs no longer reside on the NPPL.com server. Feel free to speculate in the comments below as to what you imagine is taking place.
Phoenix Feature by Matt Dawson
Without further adue, ProPaintball.com is proud to introduce action sports photographer Matt Dawson and his 2009 Phoenix magazine special feature. Prepared to be blown away as Matt brings a fresh perspective on professional paintball photography and event coverage. This is a MUST SEE! Check it out @ MattDPhoto.com.
PROPAINTBALL! The Dream is back
The man, the myth, the legend, Marcus “The Carcass” aka “Dank The Tank” Nielsen (Former Arsenal/XSV player / Background story @ PGi) and his Dream Team are back! Marcus and the Dream Team spent the weekend at Action Star Games paintball park giving the beat down to Sacramento XSV. After this weekends blow out, Marcus and the guys are ready to make their debut showing at the US Paintball Leagues Huntington Beach season opener. To insure success, Marcus cherry picked some series killers. Check out the official Dream Team 2009 HB roster below..
Dream Team 2009 HB Roster:
Marcus Nielsen
Alex Goldman
Marcello Margot
Ethan Sillers
Heath Hoeper
Tristan Barner
Patrick Hughes
Tyler “Baby Jaws” Howard
The teams initial two games were lack luster but they corrected the mistakes, reworked the game plan and made quick work of Sacramento XSV. The few spectators that had a chance to watch the private practice reported that Aftermath star Alex Goldman and young gun Tyler “Baby Jaws” Howard took turns bringing the pain train to XSV all star Thomas “Troll” Taylor.
How do you think the Dream Team will stack up against teams like Dynasty Entourage, Hollywood HK & Vicious?

PORTAL PAINTBALL AHORA ON-LINE

Virtue: Ego 9 OLED & Redefined Boards
The NEW Virtue OLED board takes performance and consistency to new heights with a 10 million operations/sec. processor. And now Virtue OLED’s pro-tested game improving Drill and Training Mode Technology will make you a better player at the same time. All new Patent Pending DT Technology™ incorporates pro-level training drills into the Virtue board with visual confirmation and audio feedback through the Organic OLED (pronounced “oh-led”) Display and speaker.
Virtue OLED uses an Organic Display Screen to change the way you use your gun. Making changes in the programming menu is now easier than ever, but Virtue OLED doesn’t stop there. The Virtue OLED Board Maintenance Monitor™ tracks bolt cycles using the gun’s eyes and the Lube Monitor ™ will tell you when it’s time to lubricate your gun. Virtue OLED’s patent pending DT™ Technology improves your skills as a player by incorporating pro-level Drill and Training Modes into your board.

INSTANT TOUCH™ FEATURES
With just the touch of a single button while the gun is live, you can make adjustments to the Game Timer, display the ROF Meter, or access any of Virtue OLED’s 8 Drill Modes without ever entering the programming menu!
Instant Game Timer Adjustment
Anytime while the gun is Live you can adjust and start the Game Timer without having to enter the Programming Menu! Simply tap the power button and cycle through the options (Drill Modes, ROF Meter) until the Timer is shown. Double Tap the power button to set the Seconds with the trigger, and then tap the power button again to set the Minutes using the trigger. One final tap to save the setting and you’re done! Fire two quick shots to start the Game Timer count down.
Lube Monitor
New hardware components on the OLED board now offer Maintenance Monitoring. Our patent pending Maintenance Monitor tracks your gun’s bolt cycles and tells you when it is time to Lubricate the internals. Most players are aware that lack of lubrication is bad for their gun and for performance. But most are not aware that too much lubrication is also bad on performance, causing erratic velocity consistency, leaks, and decreased accuracy. Virtue OLED takes the guess work out of when it’s time to lube your gun! Each bar of Lube Monitor represents 3,000 shots. When you reach 9,000 bolt cycles movements measured through the gun’s eyes, the gun will display “Lube Me”. After lubing your gun, tap the power button 5 times during the boot screen to reset the maintenance monitor back to zero.

USPL announces field paint pricing for HB
USPL announces field paint pricing for HB
March 19, 2009 by Bill G.
The USPL paint prices have been unofficially announced. From the looks of it, teams with manufacture direct paint deals will be able to take advantage of their agreements.
We are curious to know; how are divisional teams supposed to anticipate the boxes they will use in order to prepay for paint? What happens if they go over, or under, the prepaid amount? Further, how will the league handle teams attempting to “smuggle” paint inside the event? Last but not least; if one brand of paint is too brittle or too soft (remember, these things happen at the beach), will the league allow teams to exchange their paint with other brands of equal or lesser value?
“Sponsored Teams
All Paintballs must be purchased from the US Paintball League on site. We will honor Manufacture direct sponsorships. Please have your factory rep contact the US Paintball League with your sponsorship details by emailing info@uspaintballleague.com.
