New Pro Team in Millenium Series
As of yesterday Offenbach Comin At Ya (Germany) has filled the Moscow Phoenix spot in the Champions League of the Millenium Series.
Last year with the help of American Greg Siewars (Bushwackers, Ironmen) CAY placed 3rd overall in the SPL series barely missing promotion to the CPL. For 2009 CAY planned to bring over Americans Jon Millman (XSV, CSULB) and Corey Bornstein (BLAST, CSULB) to help win a top 2 position in order to be promoted up to the CPL. However with Moscow Phoenix’s decision to not field a team this year CAY owners Kiki and Sven Schmelzeisen did not hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the valuable spot in the CPL for the 2009 season.
